SETUP, BREAKDOWN & VENUE REQUIREMENTS

  1. The Client must arrange for Cakewalk Cake Shop to have access to the venue at most ninety (90) minutes prior to the scheduled service start time with a minimum of sixty (60) minutes, unless otherwise agreed upon.

  2. A clean, safe, level, accessible, and appropriately sized setup area must be available upon arrival.

  3. The Client is responsible for confirming that the venue permits the selected Cakewalk service, including food preparation, floral services, carts, electrical equipment, décor, water or other applicable installations.

  4. Any required permits, venue approvals, loading instructions, parking arrangements, elevator access, certificates of insurance, or other venue requirements must be communicated to Cakewalk Cake Shop in advance.

  5. Cakewalk Cake Shop is not responsible for delays caused by restricted venue access, venue personnel, weather, power outages, loading restrictions, parking limitations, elevators, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

  6. Delayed access to the venue does not automatically extend the contracted service period. Additional service time may be subject to applicable overtime charges.

  7. Cakewalk Cake Shop reserves the right to modify the placement or arrangement of equipment when necessary to accommodate venue restrictions, operational requirements, or safety concerns.

ELECTRICAL & WATER REQUIREMENTS

Services requiring electrical equipment must have access to a safe and functioning electrical outlet within the required distance of the service area. Services requiring water must ensure water is accessible within the required distance of the service area.

The Client is responsible for confirming electrical and water availability with the venue before the event.

SERVICE TIME & ADDITIONAL HOURS

Service begins and ends at the times stated in the Client's Agreement.

Requests to extend service beyond the contracted period are subject to attendant availability and the applicable additional-hour rate.

Time lost because of circumstances outside Cakewalk Cake Shop's control—including delayed venue access or delayed event schedules—does not guarantee an extension of service.

PRODUCT & FLORAL AVAILABILITY

Cakewalk Cake Shop makes every reasonable effort to provide the flavors, toppings, décor, floral varieties, colors, and other selections requested by the Client.

Because certain ingredients, flowers, seasonal products, specialty items, and décor may be subject to availability, comparable substitutions may occasionally be necessary.

For Bloom Bar services, specific flower varieties cannot be guaranteed unless expressly stated in writing. Floral selections will be curated to remain consistent with the agreed-upon color palette, style, and overall aesthetic whenever substitutions are necessary.

Cakewalk Cake Shop must be notified of known food allergies or dietary concerns before the event.

Although reasonable precautions may be taken, products may be prepared or served in environments where common allergens—including dairy, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts—are present.

Cakewalk Cake Shop cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

The Client is responsible for communicating applicable allergy or dietary information to their guests.
